Welcome to CitadelVPN. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before accessing or using the website https://citadelvpn.io or any CitadelVPN software, applications, or infrastructure (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use CitadelVPN.

1. Description of Service

CitadelVPN provides encrypted virtual private network (VPN) services utilizing modern protocols (including VLESS and Hysteria2, alongside legacy support for WireGuard and OpenVPN). The Service is designed to secure network communications, protect personal data in public networks, and provide high-speed global routing across our server infrastructure.

2. Account Registration and Security

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to form a binding contract.
Account Credentials: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and access keys. You are fully responsible for all activity occurring under your account.
Device Limits: Usage is restricted to the maximum number of simultaneous connections specified in your chosen plan:
- TRIAL: Up to 2 devices.
- PRO: Up to 2 devices.
- VIP: Up to 5 devices.
- MAX: Up to 15 devices.

3. Subscription Plans, Trial, and Billing

A. Free Trial Policy

We offer a 5-day trial (up to 5 GB traffic, max 2 devices) for new accounts.
The Trial period is provided free of charge, requires no credit card binding, and is limited to one activation per user/account.

B. Manual Non-Recurrent Billing

All paid plans (PRO, VIP, MAX) are purchased on a fixed-term duration basis (e.g., 1 month, 6 months, 1 year, 2 years).
No Automatic Subscriptions: CitadelVPN operates exclusively on a manual single-payment basis. We will never automatically charge your card or account upon plan expiration. Renewals require manual order placement by the user.

C. Payment Methods

Payments are accepted via Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and supported cryptocurrencies (USDT, BTC, XMR, USDC, SOL, etc.).

4. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

You agree to use CitadelVPN strictly for lawful purposes. You are expressly prohibited from using the Service to:

Engage in illegal activities under applicable local or international laws.
Transmit, distribute, or launch malicious software, botnets, computer viruses, ransomware, or phishing campaigns.
Conduct Denial of Service (DoS/DDoS) attacks, unauthorized network scanning, or hacking into third-party systems.
Distribute or transmit Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or promote physical violence and illegal hate speech.
Infringe upon intellectual property, copyright, or patent rights of any entity.
Engage in fraudulent activities or unauthorized financial scams.

Enforcement: While CitadelVPN does not monitor or inspect user activity logs, we reserve the right to block specific network abuse vectors, suspend accounts, or limit access to specific network resources in response to systemic abuse or threat reports, without compromising overall user privacy.

5. Service Availability and Performance

We strive to maintain continuous availability for our global 10 Gbps network infrastructure. However, the Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
Network speeds, connection latency, and server availability may fluctuate depending on third-party ISP routing, geographical distance, server load, and external network disruptions beyond our control.

6. Refund Policy

If you experience technical issues preventing the Service from functioning as intended, please contact our 24/7 technical support team.
Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of purchase, provided the Service has not been utilized in violation of our Acceptable Use Policy. Cryptographic payments are non-refundable due to blockchain network mechanics.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CitadelVPN, its operators, employees, and infrastructure partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your access to, use of, or inability to use the Service.

8. Modifications to Terms

CitadelVPN reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated "Effective Date." Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
